THIS. MOTHERFREAKING THIS.

Excuse me as I causally anonymously mail this to all my relatives’ homes

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: Equating all Muslims with the Taliban or Al-Quaeda is like equating all Christians with the Westboro Baptist Church or those who bomb abortion clinics.

Numbers don’t lie.

Seattle Mall Cop Arrested and Maced a bypassing Black Man during a Israel protest that he wasn’t involved in.

From the description:

Mall Cop Ignores White Guy Screaming Racial Slurs; Maces African American Bystander Instead
Innocent bystander pepper sprayed and arrested by Westlake security during protest in Seattle
Westlake Mall Cop Ignores Agitator, Maces African American Bystander at Israel Protest
Westlake security pepper spray & arrest innocent bystander after he’s harassed by pro Israel supporter during protest
Mall cop gets a call for a white man with his shirt off harassing and assaulting random people and protesters on the street. Cop finds him and squaring off with a passerby that he had shoved a moment prior (black man). Cop maces and arrests black man.

Everyone that witnessed the event is yelling “dude you are arresting the wrong guy”. Cop ignores them. White man walks off.

Ashamed that this happened in my city…

Demonstrators protest the violence in Gaza during a pro Palestine rally in Seattle. As protestors lined the sidewalks in Westlake Park, a pro Israel supporter walks by, harassing the demonstrators, yelling in peoples faces, screaming obscenities, and racial slurs. After crossing the street and harassing another group of demonstrators, the man tore off his shirt and began walking towards the group with fists clenched. As someone who wasn’t a part of the demonstration walked by, the pro Israel supporter turned and said something as he passed. The man then turned around as if he was going to swing, but thought better of it. The pro Israel supporter squared off with him, but a Westlake security guard who was watching the interaction pulled out his pepper spray, and sprayed the innocent passerby, grabbed him by the arm and tried to wrestle him to the ground.

Here’s what’s happening, according to witnesses: A man employed by the private company Valor Security, which guards Westlake Center, is unloading a can of mace in the face of 25-year-old Raymond Wilford, who says he was on his way inside the mall to meet a friend.
You can see Garland’s full photo set of the incident here. What did Wilford do to deserve being pepper-sprayed in the face? The mall’s security director says the incident is under investigation and the company has no comment. Nor would he tell me the guard’s name.

According to a Seattle police report, the mall cop told officers that when Wilford “took an aggressive step towards him he deployed his pepper spray.”

(From what I understand, the police thought they heard a gunshot and started throwing tear gas into the crowd. Correct me if I’m wrong)

10/10 THIS

I actually adore her because I’ve NEVER seen a black person get to be so fucking frank and honest about racial injustice on tv.

She’s real, she’s smart, she’s witty, she’s informed and she’s fucking unapologetic. I’m obsessed.
